• "Company" refers to Alpha Rent a Car, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and assigns.
• "Customer" or "You" refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle from the Company.
• "Vehicle" refers to the car, van, SUV, or other automobile rented to the Customer.
• "Rental Agreement" refers to the contract between the Company and the Customer for the rental of a Vehicle.
• "Website" refers to alpharentals.org and all related subdomains.

To rent a vehicle from Alpha Rent a Car, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 for certain premium vehicles)
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been held for at least one year
• Have a valid credit or debit card in your name for payment and security deposit
• Meet our insurance requirements
• Present valid identification (passport or national ID)

The Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements or for any other reason at our discretion.

Inquiries can be made online through our website, by phone, or in person at our rental locations. A inquiry guarantees vehicle availability and the quoted rate for the specified rental period, subject to the following conditions:

• Inquiries must be guaranteed with a valid credit card
• Changes to inquiries may result in rate adjustments
• Cancellation policies apply as specified at the time of booking
• Failure to pick up a reserved vehicle without prior cancellation may result in a no-show fee

By renting a vehicle from us, you authorize the Company to charge your credit or debit card for:

• The rental fee as agreed upon at the time of inquiry
• A security deposit (refundable upon return of the vehicle in acceptable condition)
• Any additional charges incurred during the rental period (fuel, late returns, damages, traffic violations, etc.)
• Administrative fees for processing traffic or parking violations

All rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD) or Ugandan Shillings (UGX) as specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed inquiries will be honored at the quoted rate.

The Customer agrees to the following conditions regarding the use of the rental vehicle:

• Only authorized drivers listed on the Rental Agreement may operate the vehicle
• The vehicle will not be used for illegal purposes or to transport hazardous materials
• The vehicle will not be driven outside Uganda without prior written permission
• The vehicle will not be used for commercial purposes unless specifically authorized
• No smoking is permitted in any of our vehicles
• Pets are not allowed in vehicles unless specifically authorized (additional cleaning fees may apply)
• The vehicle will not be operated by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, forfeiture of all payments, and additional charges for any damages incurred.

Basic insurance coverage is included in all rental rates, which includes:

• Third-party liability insurance as required by Ugandan law
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with deductible
• Theft Protection with deductible

Additional insurance options are available for purchase, including:

• Super Collision Damage Waiver (reduces or eliminates the CDW deductible)
• Personal Accident Insurance
• Personal Effects Coverage

The Customer remains responsible for any damages not covered by insurance, including but not limited to damages resulting from prohibited uses, negligence, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

In the event of an accident, theft, or damage to the vehicle, the Customer must:

1. Notify the police immediately
2. Contact Alpha Rent a Car as soon as possible
3. Obtain a police report
4. Not admit fault or liability
5. Collect information from all parties involved (names, contact details, insurance information)
6. Take photographs of the damage and accident scene if possible
7. Complete an accident report form provided by the Company

Failure to follow these procedures may void insurance coverage and result in the Customer being fully liable for all damages.

The Customer agrees to return the vehicle:

• On the date and time specified in the Rental Agreement
• With the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental (or pay for refueling)
• In the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear
• To the agreed-upon location (additional fees apply for different drop-off locations)

Late returns may be charged at the current daily rate plus a late fee. Extensions must be requested and approved before the scheduled return time.

The Company reserves the right to terminate the Rental Agreement and repossess the vehicle at any time if the Customer:

• Breaches any term of the Rental Agreement or these Terms and Conditions
• Has provided false or misleading information
• Uses the vehicle in a manner that may cause damage or harm

The Customer remains responsible for all charges incurred up to the point of termination, plus any costs associated with vehicle recovery and damages.

These Terms and Conditions and the Rental Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the rental of a vehicle shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is the Customer's responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically.
