Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any minimum rental period?
Rentals can be as short as a few hours (e.g., airport transfer with a driver) and as long as several months. We frequently support long‑term rentals for organizations, companies and expatriates.
Do the cars have insurance cover?
Yes—every vehicle is comprehensively insured. We work with established insurers in Uganda such as Jubilee, UAP Old Mutual, ICEA and Sanlam. Cover typically includes third‑party liability, fire and theft, and collision damage with an excess. Tyres, windscreens and undercarriage may be excluded unless you opt into additional cover. 24/7 roadside assistance is included.
What documents will I need to provide?
Bring a valid driving licence when collecting the car. A national ID or passport will also be required for verification.
Can anyone else other than myself drive the car?
Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle. If a non‑authorized driver operates the car, insurance cover will not apply.
