Road trip in Uganda
Nice and accommodating team. The 4x4 qyi was rented to me was perfectly suited to my journey on the roads of Uganda.

Patrick and the extra mile...or 2
After some 10 years I hired the services of Alpha again, being satisfied with them the first time round and their friendly driver Gerard, so this time, that we needed a larger vehicle to transport material for a school near Kabale that we were bringing in, I contacted them again, asking them to bring the vehicle to Entebbe on the Tuesday. After Egypt Air refused to allow us to check in the material for the school at origin, we were forced to change our plans on the go and I contacted Alpha, who kindly agreed to put back the hire one day and extend the availability of the driver too. After an indifferent start with Patrick, our guide and driver, things improved and we were glad to have stayed with him. Due to the above mentioned problem of Egypt Air, we needed Patrick to be at the cargo terminal after lunch, but due to a variety of bureaucratic hold ups, we were not able to set off for Kabale with the school material, (mainly children's lifejackets), until the evening. Patrick drove through the night to get us to the lake shore by dawn, and was also able to get us back to Entebbe that same night. I wish to thank both Alpha for their flexibility and especially Patrick for contributing to this mission with an outstanding demonstration of professionalism.

Super Service!
It was first time renting a car in Africa for us. Anyway, booking was easy, contact was immedeate and to the point, price was okay, Alpha brought thr car to the guest house in Entebbe (Gorilla Guest House, good choice) where we stayed at the correct time and took it back from our guest house at the end of rental as arranged at the booking without extrachare. Very friendly formalities without much paperwork. The car showed that it was used for many trips before and some electronic specials were working 'a bit slowly'. But for Africa good standard, I think. However, the car worked without any difficulties, important technical things (engine, breaks, steering, automatic geer box, 4WD, security equipment, spare tyre) were okay and it brought us through dusty and bumpy roads as expected. Would do it again.

They were welcoming when they met us at Entebbe International Airport and gave us an overview of the vehicle. When it comes to car rentals in Africa, this ought to be your first option. Personable, competent staff that knows how to make your vacation unforgettable and know what it means to be a tourist. Everything—our Pajero GDI, the online payment, the pickup, and the drop-off—went flawlessly. Alpha Rent A Car was far excellent. I will definitely return in 2025 for my other safari. Memorable Experience
Alpha Rent A Car is reliable and they help a lot with the trip preparations and itinerary. I have rented their cars ever since 2010 for my Ugandan up country trips and it is always a great land cruiser with a pop up roof. Memorable Safari Experience

We took a self drive road trip in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya planned by Alpha Rent A Car. The experience was amazing wawoo!! and everything well planned. Alles in allem ein toller Trip
Wir hatten einen zwar in die Jahre gekommenen Landrover, der uns allerdings zuverlässig über die gesamten 13 Tage von Kampala in den Norden, dann in den Süden und dann wieder nach Kampala zurück gebracht hat. Das zu öffnende Dach war für die Game Drives perfekt, um einen 360-Grad Rundumblick zu haben und alles auf sich wirken lassen zu können. Freddie wurde uns nicht umsonst empfohlen - er war zuverlässig, hat uns oft bei der Planung geholfen und hatte immer wieder gute Insider-Tips. Zudem konnten wir von ihm sehr viel über Land, Leute und Kultur lernen, so dass auch die mehrere Stunden langen Fahrten sehr kurzweilig waren. Alles in allem nicht ganz günstig aber eine gute und zuverlässige Wahl.

Wonderful experience in Uganda
We made a tour in Uganda in January 2023 during 12 days. We rent a Toyota Land Cruiser VX and we went to Kidepo, Murchison, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, Biwindi, Lake Bunyonyi and lake MBuro with 2800 km self driving. What a wonderful and amazing experience !!! Alpha rent a car has always been with us, from the reservation to the returning. We have had some trouble during the tour and Alpha rent a car has discussed the problem remotely with the garage and they have even paid remotely, so I had nothing to pay.

Perfect!
We had a fantastic Land Cruiser for our part of 5 - and our brilliant driver Herbert was also an amazing guide and advisor for our 9 days tour. From Kampala we travelled to the paradise of Lake Bunyoni, the Little Elephant Camp on the edge of the QE National Park and the crater lakes around Fort Portal before returning to Kampala. Herbert’s knowledge of birds and animals was excellent and the overall customer service from Alpha Rent a Car was exceptional.

Needed the car both in pleasure and work for two weeks. Had some small problems with the car initially but Alpha rent a car was quick to fix the errors. Easy to connect with, both via email and WhatsApp. Liked extra much that they can pick one up at the airport so you can get away right away. Thanks for everything

Amazing trip with Alpha Rent A Car
My first time in Uganda and wanted the best possible experience, and I'm delighted to say that Alpha Rent A Car were just amazing. Proscovia and her team went above and beyond to make my trip very special and every day was an exciting adventure. The programme was perfect and well executed by Freddie and Morris - however they also added value by suggesting other activities when time allowed which was brilliant. They were a great team and were integral to me having the best time. I was safe, comfortable and any requests were handled enthusiastically. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!!
