About Murchison Falls

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest and oldest national park, located in the northwestern part of the country. It is famous for its powerful waterfall, where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before crashing down with a thunderous roar.

The park features wide savanna plains, riverine forests, and woodland, creating a rich habitat for wildlife. It is one of the best places in Uganda to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and hippos, especially along the Nile.

With boat cruises, game drives, and the iconic Murchison Falls itself, the park offers a full safari experience and is one of the top destinations for both local and international tourists
